Travellers Resource Pricing.
From October, there will be a new pricing structure for those Travellers resources that cannot be printed from the disc issued with the Travellers Kit. The new prices reflect increased production and GST costs. Schools will be notified of the new item costs prior to Oct 1 and the website will be updated. The Travellers kit and/or manual will be unavailable for purchase outside of training from this date.
Travellers Kits can be purchased up to October 1 for $400 [this price includes GST, 15 blue student "suitcases" and postage].
The Travellers Training manual is being updated and is unavailable for purchase.
Printable Disc issued with Travellers Kit
We are currently updating some of the Travellers resources on this disc as a result of the student and facilitator review of 2009. All schools will be issued with a new disc once this process is complete. There will be no charge for the new disc.

PDF's of the new brochures are now available via the links below. These will also be available for purchase from the Travellers store soon. If you do not have a login for the Travellers store, please email Teresa to get one set up.
2009/10 Travellers Review
This study into the Travellers programme was completed in February 2010 by staff at the Roy McKenzie Centre for the Study of Families. It gives some very interesting insights into what Students, Facilitators and Principals feel about the programme. Read Executive Summary/Read Full Report

Travellers Questionnaire
As part of Skylight's aim to make Travellers as user friendly as we can, the Travellers Questionnaire is now accessed by schools via a web portal. The Questionnaire is unchanged in look and operation, all that is different is how students access it. Schools will need to ensure that the computers students use are linked to the internet.
School Facilitators are contacted by the Travellers Administration once their students have completed the survey, providing access to their school data.
Training for 2010
If you have urgent need to train facilitators to enable your school to run the Travellers Programme this year, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can schedule training.
The main training period for new facilitators is late November to early December. Schools will be contacted in late term 3 for their training requirements.
